Costume
-Ripped tights.
i used ripped tights in the role of the second girl that gets picked up at the end of the film as this represents the lifestyle that i live within the opening sequence which is a prostitute. Having the ripped tights also makes me different from the first girl, and shows that the killer picks up many girls. To create the effect of the ripped tights i cut holes in them with scissors. I think the tights were an effective prop as they also made me look a lot older than what i was. They also showed how the character walks around with very little on to attract passers by.
-Short skirt.
within our open title sequence i wore a short black skirt, this complimented the ripped tights as it showed i did not have barely anything on and this also builds up more of a character as it is very different to how i am in real life, both the skirt and tights are black which fits in with the fact the sequence takes place at night and also shows how even though i may not be a bad character i also am seen to be bad as the lifestyle my character leads. The short skirt is an iconic item of clothing that is thought about when you think of a prostitute.
-strapped simple white top.
Even though i am seen to be a bad character within the opening sequence because of the lifestyle i am in the use of the white strapped top i wear with my costume is effective, not only does it fit with barely wearing anything but white is the symbol of innocence, and this shows how my character is vulnerable because the use of the dramatic irony, as the audience know she is going to be killed by the man in the car.
-high heeled boots
I worse high heeled boots to represent the sluttyness of my character, but also the power and confidence that she possessed The boots were also black to go with the dark aura that i was portraying.
i wore no accesories to make me different to girl number 1 and to show that i did not care a lot about my appearance.

hair and Makeup
I used thick black liquid liner to frame my eyes, this dark make up was used to contrast the paleness of my face and to make me look like i lead a bad lifestyle, typically prostitutes are also seen to wear dark messy make up.
I also used red lipstick as the color red is a symbol of red and seduction and this also goes well with the dark black makeup, this bright red lipsticks focuses attention on the lips and this expresses the whole prostitute look.
I wore blusher on my cheeks to make myself look more 'tarted' up and to make my character much different to myself in real life, using this made me look as if the 'rough lifestyle' that i live in the opening sequence has taken a toll on me and i have to cover this up with makeup.
I made my hair very messy and curly for my character by having it tied up in a bun before and then letting it down so it was very frizzy and curly, this made me look as if i hadn't brushed my hair in a while and showed that even though my character cares about the appearance she doesn't really have the time to as she is meant to be out on the streets making money, fitting in with the whole character of the prostitute and looking quite cheap.

Acting
While acting i had to act very confident and strut around like the streets where like my home and i knew them like the back of my hand, i had to change my attitude to truly get into the character of a prostitute and to come across in the right way. This means that i walked by moving my hips a lot and having my hands on my hips, expressing my confidence. When talking to the man in the car i lean over in quite a seductive way, this is a lot different to myself in real life so the whole costume helped me get into the character i wanted to be.

. A pair of black lace tights
. A pair of black ankle, high heeled boots
. A short sleeved black cardigan that had little shiny beads on
Accessories
I wore a lot of accessories, this was to show that my character had made a lot of money doing what she does and so that I looked very tarty.
My accessories were.--
. Some big bulky bracelets
. A white choker necklace with a big jewel hanging down off it
. A long black feather necklace
. Some long dangle earrings
My nails were painted orange to show that my character doesn't really care about colour coordination.

acting
For the acting I had to act very confident and very slutty which I feel I did quite well considering I am nothing like that in real life.
kIRSTY
Kirsty created all the props for the film including the fake blood. She helped in the planning of the website and its creation. She also helped with the filming. We cast Kirsty as props director as she is very reliable and was really good at creating the fake blood when we first practiced it, she is very organized and she also helps out with the feeling, as she is really good at coming up with shot ideas.
Props
Due to being a conventional final girl, I was not suited to star in the opening sequence of our horror so instead I was in charge of props.
Fake blood
I made two fake bloods for our opening sequence, an edible one and a non edible one.
The non edible one was a mixture of washing liquid (green) and red food colouring, but due to the lack of red food colouring in the supermarket I had to improvise with orange and pink. This blood was used to cover Sam's body where she had been bound and stabbed.
The edible fake blood was made out of coco powder, hot water, a little bit of corn starch (to thicken it) and red food colouring but again due to the lack of red I had to settle for orange and pink.
This blood was used for Sam to spit out as it would not do any harm to her if she ingested it.
Rope
I provided to rope that was used to tie Sam up when she is the boot of the car.

dAN
Dan did the filming and editing for the horror opening including the titles. He also completed a blog before setting up the website. He helped to direct the film when we were filming. We cast Dan as the director of the film as he is really good on computers and we was good with creating ideas that our horror film could be based upon. He also is very good at filming and editing and knowing how to piece together the shots.
Camera and Editing
I firstly with the rest of the group planned the different shots we are using in our horror opening sequence. I then took these planned shots and then went out with our group to film these basically acting as a director also. Once I had planned, filmed and watched back the clips I then took the clips and edited them together into the opening sequence. Along side the editing I also worked to create our production company and distributor which are featured below. Also creating each of the individual titles that appear in our opening sequence. To edit our video I used Final Cut Express 4.0 and for the titles used LiveType both of which I learnt during this project.
